INDIANAPOLIS –With a successful first year behind them, the AMOA-National Dart Association announced today it will again host a series of three Regional Tournaments across the United States beginning fall 2014.
The fall 2014 Regional Tournaments will be held in the following locations:
Denver, Colorado – Sept. 19-21, 2014
Columbus, Ohio – Oct. 24-26, 2014
Rochester, Minnesota – Dec. 5-7, 2014
NDA tournaments are classified by skill rating providing a competitive experience where players play those of similar skill. The Regional Tournaments provide a fun and affordable way for NDA players to gain competition experience and get local value out of their NDA-sanctioned status. With over 300 winners last year at three Regional Tournaments, players have a great chance of winning no matter what level they play.
The Regional Tournaments will be open to any NDA-sanctioned player with 48 games played for a NDA operator in the qualifying period. Each competition will feature Open Singles 501, Open Singles Cricket, Open Doubles Cricket, Open Doubles ’01 and Mixed Triples Combo.
The Colorado tournament will be held at the Longmont Moose Lodge with discounted hotel accommodations nearby.
The Ohio tournament will be held at the Fort Rapids Resort featuring large rooms and an indoor water park. Players can bring the whole family for a weekend away, full of fun and darts.
The Minnesota tournament will be held at the Wicked Moose Bar with discounted hotel accommodations nearby.
There are no geographic restrictions to participate in the Regional Tournaments. NDA-sanctioned players who meet the eligibility requirements from across the world are invited to participate. Players may sign up through their operator.
Operators can visit www.NDAdarts.com for complete qualification information. Players should contact their Operator to get qualified and registered for the tournaments.
All Regional Tournaments lead up to the 30th anniversary year of Team Dart, to be held May 1-9, at Bally’s Las Vegas. More information about the Regional Tournaments and Team Dart can be found by visiting the NDA website, www.NDAdarts.com.
