INDIANAPOLIS –Following discussion at the annual membership meeting, AMOA-National Dart Association (NDA) members have approved an increase in dart gram weight from 18 to 20 grams. As of June 1, 2015, NDA-sanctioned players may use 20 gram darts in all NDA regional, junior and international tournaments.
This change comes in response to player and operator feedback regarding the current NDA rules of play.
This change applies only to NDA tournaments. Operators may still determine what weight of darts may be used for local league play and local tournaments. Players should also check the regulations of their state tournament.
