NDA Declares October 29 the Day to Celebrate Darts Around the World

September 15, 2014

INDIANAPOLIS –The AMOA-National Dart Association (NDA) asks you to mark your calendars and help celebrate the first ever International Play Darts Day, October 29. Created by the NDA to celebrate the world of darts, this new holiday focuses on creating awareness of the sport and community behind it. From now on each year, this day will be a day to play darts around the world!

Participating in International Play Darts Day is as easy as setting aside October 29 to play darts at your favorite location and sharing photos of how you are celebrating the holiday. Dress up to represent your cause, bar, state or country, and take advantage of this opportunity to showcase your love of darts.

Operators and locations are encouraged to host a special league night or event to bring darters together. Promote the holiday online and through social media, or download flyers and dart board ads available by logging into www.NDAdarts.com. Not only is International Play Darts Day a great way to support the industry, but it is also a great chance to increase your number of qualifying games for Team Dart and Regional Tournaments.

The NDA invites everyone involved with darts to take part. Electronic or steel-tip, NDA-sanctioned or not, all players and operators are encouraged to join together and show their support for something that is much more than just a sport – it’s an international community of family and friends.

Connect with the NDA online at www.NDAdarts.com, and through Facebook and Twitter for updates on International Play Darts Day. Share your photos on social media using #NDAPlayDarts or submit via email at communications@NDAdarts.com.

Have fun. Play Darts on International Play Darts Day.
